Plants and Pillars Home Schooling

Plants and Pillars is a homeschool co-op that gathers each Monday within First Presbyterian Church to help their children to learn and grow. They describe themselves this way:

Welcome to Plants and Pillars! We are a group of Christian homeschooling families who seek to aid and support each other in the educating of our children. We provide opportunities for students to participate in cooperative learning situations and activities which are not readily available in a home setting, opportunities to learn from the expertise of others outside their immediate family, and a place where children can learn to interact as a community of believers. Our mission is to provide Christ centered support to homeschool families as a whole. We are not primarily an educational or evangelistic group, though we do expect that those will be natural fruits as we fulfill our primary purpose.

Then our sons in their youth will be like well-nurtured plants, and our daughters will be like pillars carved to adorn a palace. ~Psalm 144:12
